What’s New or Changing for 2025
Open Enrollment is the time to add or change benefits for the upcoming plan year. HomeServices of America’s open enrollment is typically held in November for changes effective January 1 of the following plan year. Refer to the Benefits at a Glance guide for more information on all 2025 benefit plan offerings.
Commuter Expense Reimbursement Account (CERA)
Effective January 1, 2025, a mass transit and parking benefit program will be available through Optum Financial. This benefit will be available to all employees except for telecommuters (employees who work exclusively from home). Orders for parking and transit benefits will be made directly through the Optum Financial website, and the expense for those orders will be deducted from the employee’s paycheck on a pre-tax basis up to the IRS monthly maximum. Any contributions above the IRS monthly maximum will be deducted on a post-tax basis.
With CERA you can pay for:
- Public transit services such as a bus, light rail, regional rail, streetcar, trolley, subway, or ferry fares
- Vanpool
- Parking at or near work
- Parking at or near public transportation for your commute
One Pass Select
One Pass Select is a subscription-based fitness membership and well-being program available to all employees beginning January 1, 2025. Membership provides access to a nationwide network of fitness locations, based on your needs.
- There are no contracts.
- You pay month-to-month.
- You can cancel at any time.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP) – ComPsych GuidanceResources
For January 1, ComPsych GuidanceResources will offer a new digital experience. The site will have access to the same support and resources including medical, emotional, work-life, financial, legal and well-being support – but now, you choose how the platform works for you.

- Guide Me – quickly assesses your area of need and directs you to care options, tools and resources.
- Assess Me – most extensive care path offering a brief assessment to evaluate your needs across the six primary care pillars: Metal, Emotional, Physical, Social, Legal, and Financial.
