What’s New or Changing for 2026

Open Enrollment is the time to add or change benefits for the upcoming plan year. HomeServices of America’s open enrollment is typically held in November for changes effective January 1 of the following plan year. Refer to the Benefits at a Glance guide for more information on all 2026 benefit plan offerings.

Company Holidays
Effective January 1, 2026, we’re updating our calendar to match the federal holiday schedule. This shift helps support our business needs and gives everyone a more consistent and generous holiday benefit.

Here’s what you can expect in 2026:

Disability Plan Eligibility
To streamline benefits, effective January 1, 2026, eligibility for short-term, long-term and long-term disability buy-up will be changing to the first of the month following or coinciding with hire date, or the change to benefit eligible status.
