Our Values
Charitable Giving
HomeServices of America companies are rooted in the communities they serve. Many of our companies offer hands-on or financial support to a wide variety of community non-profit organizations. This includes organizations that provide services and support for underserved youth, individuals with disabilities, veterans, the elderly, those who are homeless, those who have suffered abuse, those who are food insecure, and many other causes. Nationally, HomeServices of America is taking steps to address systemic barriers to homeownership for African Americans and other people and communities of color through the HomeServices of America Foundation for Housing Equity.
Diversity & Inclusion
We are committed to attracting, developing and creating opportunities that leverage the strengths and diversity of our people. We strive to have:
- A workforce that is reflective of the diverse backgrounds and talents in the communities we serve;
- A workplace of fair treatment and equality of opportunity, which provides everyone what they need to contribute and succeed;
- And a work culture in which everyone feels at home: welcomed, accepted, respected and valued.
Safe & Secure
As part of our commitment to employees, a safe and productive workplace is always top of mind. An accident-and injury-free day, each and every day is our goal. Throughout the year we participate in various initiatives to promote safety prevention including ergonomic self-checks, office walk-throughs, safe driving and HomeServices of Americas’ very own Safety Month. Together we work toward a safe, incident-free workplace year-round. Make sure to keep an eye out for our quarterly Safe and Secure newsletters for the most up-to-date stats.
Cybersecurity remains a key focus in protecting both our employees and customers. With cybercriminals constantly evolving and seeking new ways to access personal and work-related data, it’s critical that we remain vigilant. In fact, 91% of cyberattacks begin when someone clicks on a link or attachment in a phishing email. This means every individual in our organization plays a vital role in defending against this ongoing threat. We are committed to ensuring the security of data across our workforce, our company, and the communities we serve. The resource below offers helpful tips and guidance to support you in staying protected from phishing attempts.
